  • A Skin Patrol skin check voucher enabled you to receive a full body skin check by a qualified, experienced physician.

  • You are not required to pay anything to receive your skin check. If you are, please contact Skin Patrol on 1800 103 074 so that we can investigate the reason for this. Should you require further testing or treatment, these costs will be discussed with you and billed by the clinic upon your agreement. Please refer to ‘What happens if a skin concern is identified?’ for more information

  • Unfortunately no, our skin check vouchers are only able to be redeemed at clinics that have agreements with Skin Patrol. This allows us to ensure that you are receiving a skin check from a qualified and experienced practitioner.

  • In accordance with the Australia Privacy Principles and Privacy Act 1988(Cth), your personal medical records will not be shared with your workplace. Skin Patrol receives information directly from the medical practice you attend relating to the skin check findings, including whether follow up treatments was required or whether a suspicious lesion was identified. This information is collated into a statistics report and sent to your workplace following the voucher program completion. This information includes degrees of sun damage, whether treatments was required and what lesions were identified. All names and information relating to identification are not divulged.

  • Should a suspicious lesion be identified, the physician will discuss treatment or testing options with you directly, including the costs associated. The costs are not included in the skin check voucher you have been provided. This also means that you are welcome to seek treatment from your regular GP or a clinic of your choice should you wish, rather than from our affiliate clinic

  • You have three (3) months to redeem your voucher for a skin check.

  • Should your voucher expire prior to being able to attend your appointment, we encourage you to contact Skin Patrol on 1800 103 074. From here, we will be able to submit an extension request to allow the voucher to be redeemed at a later date.

  • Skin Patrol encourage you to contact an affiliate clinic directly by phone, so that you can let them know at time of booking that you are redeeming a Skin Patrol voucher. The reason for this is to ensure that your booking is made with a physician whose experience and qualifications meet the minimum requirements to be participating in this program. This is not something that can been screened with online bookings.
